Continuing my quest for better, faster SLR’s and better glass I bought a second hand Canon 1D Mark II and a Canon EF 17-40 f/4 L USM. And yes, the 17-40 is as good as everyone says. Even better. Results will be posted soon.

I’ve always wanted to have an old school analog (rangefinder) camera for quite a while so here it is. A 40 year-old Fujica Compact Deluxe! A rare rangefinder camera with *some* automatic functions, a shutterspeed of 1/500 max and a really sharp f/1.8 lens. All I need now is a filmscanner.
